Ogden Valley Balloon Festival Photography Exhibit

Fourteen scenic photos of the Ogden Valley Balloon and Artist Festival will be displayed at this free photography exhibit during March and April of 2018.  Three talented photographers provided their art; Bruce Grandin, Kevin Mikkelsen, and Pamela Mitchell.  Most of these framed photographs are available for sale.

Bruce Grandin is a professional industrial photographer. He grew up in Palmyra, New York and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography and film making from Rochester Institute of Technology. He followed his desire to see the west and started working for several aerospace companies in Utah and California. He now resides in Eden Utah enjoying all the amazing outdoor opportunities the valley offers.

Kevin Mikkelsen is a landscape photographer from North Ogden. In 2003 he fell in love with photography after picking up his first Nikon Camera. He is passionate about capturing the outdoor beauty that surrounds us here in Utah.

Pamela Mitchell is a semi-professional photographer living in the Ogden Valley since before the first Balloon Festival in Eden.  She began her photography work in support of a skiing blog for Wolf Creek Resort. It has been her privilege to photograph Balloon Festival scenes from both the ground and the air, capturing breathtaking scenes from high above the valley floor.

The balloon festival serves as a fantastic inspiration for both professional and amateur photographers. The morning and evening launches fill the sky with a variety of beautiful vibrant colors.

The Ogden Valley Balloon and Artist Festival takes place August 17th-19th. The festival is not only a fun and free family event, but also gives back to the community. Through the 2017 festival, The Ogden Rescue Mission made nearly 6,000 dollars during their charity breakfast.

The Ogden Valley Balloon and Artist Festival would like to thank its generous sponsors that continue to help keep the festival returning each year. A big thanks to: RAMP, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Nordic Valley, Powder Mountain, RE-MAX, Waypoint, Coca-Cola, Mountain Luxury Real Estate, and The Ogden Rescue Mission.

We hope that by visiting this Ogden Valley Balloon Festival Photography Exhibit, attendees will not only be inspired to see the festival in person but also feel inspired to delve into their own artistic side.
